PRODUCTS DURING INSTALLATION

1. Teflon® Tape: Why is this white (Teflon®) tape (provided with my product) and/or shown in the installation instructions?
a) ShowerBall® provides Teflon® tape for certain products to assist with obtaining a watertight seal. This tape is used primarily where the ShowerBall® unit connects to the shower arm.
b) To apply, locate the male pipe threads of the supply end. Wrap all of the tape supplied with your unit around the end of the shower pipe in a clockwise direction. It may be necessary to hold down the end of the tape against the male thread initially and to slightly stretch the tape as it circles the arm. Install ShowerBall® device.

2. Showerhead Connection Size: What size is the showerhead connection at the supply inlet to the fixed showerhead?
a) All showerheads, shower arms and shower arm attachments are made with a 1/2 in. NPT (National Pipe Taper) connection. This is in accord with an industry standard common to the United States and Canada.

3. I don't see any threads in the nut of my ShowerBall® Therapy System. How can I thread it onto my shower pipe?
The threads in the ShowerBall® unit are actually farther into the nut than might be normally visible. This allows for an easier installation. Just move the unit onto the shower pipe and begin rotating the ShowerBall® nut until you feel the inner threads grab the pipe. Continue with normal installation.

4. Shower Arm Pipe Connection: I am attempting to connect my new ShowerBall® showerhead to my existing shower arm. I have removed the existing showerhead, but the connection does not match and I cannot make the connection to your showerhead.
a) This may be a portion of the old showerhead which has not been completely removed. Examine the item carefully to determine if it can be removed to expose the shower arm 1/2 in. male pipe threads.
b) If removal of the end is not possible, contact your local hardware or plumbing supply store for a fitting to adapt from the existing shower arm device to the ShowerBall® Therapy System or replace the shower arm in its entirety with a traditional shower arm (with 1/2 in. male threads).

5. I attached my ShowerBall® Therapy System to my shower pipe and then took if off later to re-install. Now my unit won't thread back on to my shower pipe.
The ShowerBall® Therapy System is designed with a patented system to help ensure a leak-free installation. If you need to take your unit off for any reason and then wish to re-install the unit later, the nut will wedge itself into the neck of the unit. This is part of the leak-free design. Simply, hold the unit upside down in your hand and tap the nut onto a firm surface to release.

PRODUCTS DURING OPERATION

1. Ball Joint: The ball joint on my showerhead or body spray is very difficult to turn or rotate.
a. The ball joint is designed to provide a certain amount of rigidity and is easier to move when the showerhead device is mounted to the shower arm or supply pipe. This is due in part to increased leverage.
b. Return any showerhead product with a difficult or “unmovable” ball joint to the place of purchase or contact our Customer Service Department for a replacement.

2. Spray Settings: How do I adjust the spray settings on my showerhead or handshower?
a. Spray setting adjustment is accomplished by rotating the ring around the face of the showerhead. This ring should move freely between settings.

3. Spray Settings: My spray ring won’t turn.
a. This ring should move freely between settings. Return any showerhead product with a difficult or “unmovable” spray ring to the place of purchase or contact our Customer Service Department directly for a replacement.

APPLICATION

Q: How much showersalts should I pour in the crystal ball for one use?
A: The ShowerBall® Shower Therapy System was designed to administer one vial of salts at a time. In essence, one vial equals one use, however, you can use more or less depending on your desired length of application.

Q: How long will the showersalts last once I turn my shower on?
A: On the slow application, one vial ofShowerBall® shower and bath salts will last 12-15 minutes depending on the intensity of your water pressure and whether you have hard or soft water. On the fast application, one vial of ShowerBall® shower and bath salts will last 5-7 minutes depending on the intensity of your water pressure and whether you have hard or soft water.

A: No. ShowerBall® shower and bath salts are organic and are made from a combination of mineral salts and essential oils. Salt, of all kinds however, can have a drying effect on some skin types and hair, so the ShowerBall® team recommends minimalising exposure to your hair and face to keep drying to a low.

Q: Is it okay for ShowerBall® shower and bath salts to spray on my face or ears?
A: Yes. It is completely safe to allow ShowerBall® shower and bath salts to flow on the face and ears, however, the skin on the face is much more susceptible to drying than the skin on the rest of the body, so World ShowerBall® Group recommends minimalising exposure to the face and ears to keep drying to a low.

Q: Can ShowerBall® shower and bath salts be incorporated into daily medical therapy?
A: The World ShowerBall® Group strongly suggests that you consult your physician before making any alterations to your prescribed daily medical therapy.

Q: What should I do if ShowerBall® shower and bath salts are ingested?
A: ShowerBall® shower and bath salts are organic and non-lethal, however if ingested, too much salt of any kind can quickly dehydrate the body. The ShowerBall® team recommends consulting a family physician or poison control immediately, as well as drinking 20oz of water for every 5oz of showersalts ingested, every hour.

Q: What should I do if ShowerBall® shower and bath salts get into my eyes?
A: Flush immediately with water until all shower and bath salts have been washed out. Redness and dryness may occur immediately following the episode, however, if you continue to have discomfort after 24 hours, consult your physician.
